Atlanta's Evolving Landscape: Identifying Places to Make Way for Progress
Atlanta as a city and how some places, particularly those catering to industrial purposes, are starting to look out of place amidst the growing populace and strong employment base. Many areas that are now popular housing communities and eating/drinking establishments were previously worn-out factories, parking lots, and churches. While no one is advocating for people to lose their jobs or for corporations to cash out on intown land deals, the author wonders if it's time for certain places to move on and sell out to boost the greater good of the city.
